It happened! It finally happened; Nathan lost his first tooth. While in Ohio for Thanksgiving, we discovered his tooth was loose, and now, in January it was finally loose enough to pull. The night previous he came downstairs and it was bleeding. I asked him as to why it was bleeding and he confessed he was trying to pull it out with the tweezers. Still not quite loose enough, we encouraged him to wait another day or two.
The next day Nathan popped in the door from school and told me it was really loose. And boy was it ever! Daddy came right over and plucked it out.
The next morning the boys were both awake super early and searching for what the toothfairy had left. Devastated, they couldn't find a thing, not even the tooth. After much searching, it was found in Drew's bed, under his pillow. It must have fallen down the side of the bunk beds in the middle of the night. Nathan was quite thrilled with his dollar!
