Chosen

This was Nathan's first year to compete in the Speech Meet at school. This is right up his alley, and we worked so diligently on his poem, "Jabbering in School." The poem was perfect for him, and is definitely something he knows all about - jabbering!

For several days before his classroom meet I kept praying he would succeed at this. He has had a difficult year so far, and to see him do well in an area of school would be a huge boost for his self-esteem. I so desperately wanted him to be chosen. That was the one word that kept coming to mind - chosen.

And, he was! He was chosen to go on to the all-school competition! We were all so proud of him!
