On Saturday, after Thanksgiving, we had Great Grandma's Memorial Service. It was a lovely service honoring both her and Grandpa, and as always it was wonderful to have the entire family today. The kids were my domain and they did well considering being in the service!
Each of the grandkids shared a favorite memory of grandma, and it was very sweet to hear their recollections of her.
Following the service we all headed back to the house for lunch and the OHIO STATE football game! The food was delicious, company fabulous, and the game was great! As we all ate, it was interesting to hear the 'real' stories the grandkids remembered of grandma, but couldn't share from the pulpit. We had a lot of laughs and I know that she would have been right in the middle of it laughing if she could have!
Before we all changed for the game, I was able to get some good photos of Katie. She was so cute all dressed up, and she loved carrying Aunt Beth's little red purse!
