Today marks 1 year since our little Caleb was conceived. The first day of his short little life. And today, the 1 year anniversaries begin....since my first Dr's apt., of our first ultrasound, of announcing it to the family, of feeling the first kicks, learning of his death, and one year since he entered this world and we held him for the first and last time.
One year....so much has happened, so much has changed. What a year it has been.
In this season of Thankfulness, I do have so much to be thankful for. We have survived this year. We have grown and learned more than I ever thought possible. We have some amazing friends and family who have walk this grief journey with us (and continue to do so). We have two incredible boys here on this earth who keep us busy, and a heavenly Father who has not let go of our hands once this year - all while holding our precious boy. We are thankful. We are tired, and weary each and every night, but we are thankful.
