While getting ready for school on Tuesday, I heard Nathan say, "I can tie." I looked down to see his shoes, and he had tied them all by himself! And, double knotted them too!
When Dan and I bought his new school shoes in August, we slightly dreaded the weeks if taking time to practice tying shoes, or having to stop and tie them ourselves! The first time Dan showed him though he picked right up on it, and just needed to master the last step. Well, 4 short weeks later, we have a big five year old who can tied and double knot his shoe laces!
