Long Beach

California was much cooler than I had remembered it to be. Determined to get in enough beach time, we headed to the beach one afternoon in the 70 degree weather.

The boys didn't seem to mind the cooler air too much, they were just thrilled to be playing in the sand, and splashing in the water. We met a little friend that day, and they played most of the afternoon with him. They shared army men, flags and castles. It was a wonderful afternoon, complete with a sunburn for mommy!
