Our first day in California, the boys and I headed to the Aquarium. Daddy was in meeting all day, so we opted for a full day checking out the sea life! We had an amazing day and spent five hours learning all about the animals of the aquarium. They even had a neat scavenger hunt with stamps for us to complete. It added a real sense of adventure for the boys, and they were so giddy each time we discovered a new stamp!
They had just completed this penguin exhibit, and the boys sure
enjoyed the cool shade to watch them swim!
The boys favorite exhibit by far was the sharks! We must have gone back at least 4 times for the boys to see and touch them! Nathan just dove his hand right in there, not afraid at all. Drew, on the other hand, finally touched one the last 30 min. of the day. When he finally did, it was by accident, but he was thrilled. He had spent most of the day sticking his two little fingers in half heartedly. Finally, during our last visit, his arm might have been shoved down in the water by a certain loving mother.
