Parrrrty for the Pirate

For Nathan's fourth birthday party we decided to do a pirate themed party. Since he received his castle and pirate ship for Christmas, he has been itching to be a pirate. One of our favorite parks is Phelps Park, and is a castle made out of wood. It was the perfect setting for our Pirate Parrrty!

While there were not many guests who dawned their pirate gear, their goodie bags with eye patches, hats and scarves sufficed! The weather was much cooler than previous birthday parties, and the wind whipped off the lake so we definitely felt as if we were aboard a ship. The kids had fun playing around, and Nathan had a wonderful time celebrating with his friends!
