Our last night with the Hackers in town we went to the Airplane Restaurant. I had heard about it thru a coupon club and thought that it sounded like a great place to take the boys. I had looked at the menu and knew it was more pricey than our typical family meals out, so we wanted to make a real event out of going. So a trip with the grandparents made it an extra special time!When we pulled up to the restaurant the kids were ecstatic. There we were parked beside an actual airplane. As we walked into the jetway, we were greeted with tons of airplanes hanging from the ceiling and a flight attendant to take us to our seat. The kids loved it! I was so thankful she sat us near the front of the airplane near the cockpit since that's where the boys wanted to spend most of their time. Except for the actual eating of the meal, they were in the cockpit flying us around. What a scary thought.....and a peek into what the future may hold for one of my little boys. They both love airplanes right now. We'll see if it's just a phase or the beginning of a lifelong passion for aviation.
