Aunt Erin

The best Christmas present arrived on Dec. 10th at 4pm in the afternoon to the Denver Airport - Aunt Erin. Uncle Alec and Aunt Erin had been in Germany for twenty long months, and we all missed them terribly. Just a little over a week ago Erin found a cheap ticket home and booked it. We had all spent the last week scrambling for her arrival and eager with anticipation to see her!

The boys and I met Grammy and Pop pop at the airport early in the afternoon to pick her up. Her flight was delayed a little, so we enjoyed walking around the airport and coloring in a coffee shop. As the time of her arrival approached we headed over to where she'd be coming off the escalator. Signs in hand - we waited, and waited, and waited.

The boys were so cute with their signs pressed to the glass. One passerby was kind enough to let us know that they were upside down, Oops! I think she would have understood it though.

We watched to intently for her, and without us even seeing she came off the escalator. She had seen us and the signs before we saw her!
The boys took immediately to her, and wouldn't leave her side from the moment they embraced her. It was so sweet!!
