Pressed Cookies

One of the Hacker traditions we have kept is that of Pressed Cookies. I received my 'gun' and recipe for one of my showers, and have really enjoyed using it for various occasions. We typically use it the most around Christmas time, but have used it in the Fall and Springs as well.

The day after Thanksgiving, Dan pulled it out and got our first batch started! With the weather being cold, and the sun setting just before 5pm, we are anxious to find some indoor activities that the boys enjoy. Baking is one of them, so we have been baking up a storm. Drew's favorite step in the process is licking the beater, as you can see from the pictures below.
