Aunt Beth aka Aunt Erin

Poor Beth was referred to as Aunt Erin the entire time she was here. Thankfully she was understanding, and gently corrected Nathan each time he called her his other Aunt's name. (Even as we were saying goodbye, he still called her Aunt Erin)

One thing that Aunt Beth does have over Aunt Erin, is the Snap, Crackle, and Pop of Rice Krispies. Each time we're together Nathan and Aunt Beth listen to the Snap, Crackle, and Pop together. Their little tradition is so sweet, and I hope a memory he'll cherish as he grows up.

Christmas Eve evening, we opened all of the Keenan presents. It was to Beth's delight that Aunt Erin sent the boys T-shirts that said, "My Aunt Rocks." While I'm sure that Erin meant "Aunt Erin Rocks," Aunt Beth took full advantage of the fact that she was the Aunt present!

Beth was sure a trooper the entire week she was here to visit. Not only did she get the flu, sleep on the couch, hold Nathan hostage in his room Christmas morning, chase him all over Sea World, but she also heard his wake up call each and every morning. It took me by great surprise to hear that she misses it...The 7am wake up call is definitely hard to
hear on nights where we have stayed up too late - which were many over Christmas! Thank you Beth for letting me sleep in!

All of her pain did pay off though - she got her first Coach purse from her favorite (and only) nephews. It was a shock to her and one of the best gifts I was able to give this Christmas! She is a wonderful Aunt and Sis - and definitely deserves it!
