One of Nathan's favorite books right now is called Goodmorning Digger. I got it for him over the summer, and he has reverted back to it for weeks at a time requesting it each time we sit down to read. As I was reading it tonight Dan stood at the door watching us and couldn't help but laugh when Nathan made the Digger noise, "Grr clank, Grrr clank." It is just too cute! Of course the Cement Mixer noise, and dump truck noise is cute too, but there's something about the "Grrr Clank" that's just irresistable. We're going to have to get a video!
The following morning we were on our way to church, and passed a digger. You would have thought that it was Christmas Day all over again. He started shouting, "Goodmorning Digger, Goodmorning Digger." It was precious to see him make the connection! We then called Daddy to leave him a message that we had seen Goodmorning Digger. Someday he'll make the connection that it's just a digger. The full name is not Goodmorning Digger.
