You're a grandma, aren't you?

My boys aren't shy. They just aren't. If they are shy at any given moment, they're faking!

Nathan particularly will talk to anyone. He isn't afraid of a soul and will talk their ears off if they'll stand there long enough to listen.

Lately the boys have been into "Grandma's." I'm not sure if they think all grandma's love them and think they're cute - or if the think all grandma's will give them ice cream or chocolate. It seems that where ever we go, the boys are pointing out, or talking to grandmas. Thankfully the little old ladies never seem to mind being asked if they're a grandma, and enjoy the little conversations my boys have with them.

On this particular day we were in JoAnn's. The line was long, as usual, and the computers kept shutting down. We seemed to be stuck for forever in their little corral that is lined with every type of mischief a young boy can find. While talking to a grandma behind us, Nathan picked up one of the dollar items - a green sparkly crown - and placed it on his head. He then proceed to tell the little nice grandma about how he was a princess. Completely shocked and horrified that my son thinks he's going to be a princess, I turned around and corrected him. Unsure of what this grandma might think, I blamed it on that darn Disney movies. Aren't all of them about princesses? What are the poor boys left to think - that they're going to be princesses too?

Let's just say, I now address the boys as my princes....not princesses!
