Right down the road from The Richey house is an Air Force Museum. We drove past it each time we went to and from the house and the boys went nuts each time we saw all the big airplanes sitting outside. We were thrilled to take them, and despite the cold, the enjoyed running around outside checking them all out.
Inside there were several hangers full of airplanes, uniform and history on the air force. The boys enjoyed looking at it all, but were most thrilled when we found the Children's Play section. The boys immediately went for the astronaut costumes, and then the flight simulators. They were in their heaven. We coaxed Addison into getting into costume as well, so we could get pictures of all three of our little pilots.
The flight simulators were really fun, and even Dan got in one to test is out. Sweet little Ian slept thru the entire experience - but will make up for it someday, I'm sure.
