On the move...

Yes, Drew is on the move and is walking. He is walking just because he can these days. While he gets run over by his older brother quite frequently, he tries his hardest to keep up. Today the cheesiest analogy hit me. It occurred while Drew was trying to push his little pop-pop machine (at least that's what we call it). He was trying so hard to stand up and push it. He was so determined with his head down staring at it and grunting. He soon looked up and saw I was watching, gave a huge grin and did it! He stood right up, like he'd done it a hundred times, and pushed it right to me. He was so proud of himself. It was then that it hit me...when we look up to God, we can have all the confidence in the world. Just like Drew looking at me for his guidance, I need to look to God for guidance as well. It's such a simple picture of how we are to live our lives - with our focus on Him!
