The Zoo

One of the days that Beth was here we decided to head to the zoo for the first time to get our zoo passes. It was a beautiful day to be outside, but a little too warm for most of the animals. Every exhibit we went to the animals were either sleeping or inside. It was fun to see the zoo, and start to learn where everything was, but a little disappointing to see 'sleeping' animals.

The one animal that we enjoyed immensely were the giraffes. They were right at the entrance, and we were eye level with them. The boys loved feeding them, and getting as close as they could to them - without touching them.

Aunt Beth Monkeying around with the boys!

One of the advantages of the zoo being on the side of a mountain is that there is a Sky Ride to the top of the mountain, with activities at the top. The kids loved the ride up and down in and of itself, the rock climbing wall and ice cream at the top was just a bonus!
