Young's Dairy Farm and Ice Cream

We took the long way, and a very slow drive to Young's Jersy Dairy Farm. The kids all managed to fall asleep, and we only had to circle it twice before someone woke up. It managed to be just enough of a nap so that everyone was not miserable.

Our first fifteen minutes were quite eventful though. McKenna was the first to wake up due to wet pants, which she utterly detested. This proceeded to wake up the other children, which was fine since they had napped long enough. We headed straight to the restroom to let all the kids relieve themselves, and to get McKenna dry. Who knew it could be such an ordeal. While in there Drew proceeded to lock himself and in the restroom - and a store manager had to climb over the stalls to let him out - and McKenna got a clean diaper - but no pants. I'm sure we made for an interesting bunch ordering ice cream that day!

The four kids with their ice cream, all dripping.

I'm not sure in whose book this is defined as 1 scoop?!
After polishing off all the ice cream we could muster, we headed out to the petting farm. The kids all few the goats and loved to tease them with the food by holding it just far enough away. Much to the kids surprise, goats have long tongues.

McKenna especially loved the animals and petted them all!

Several young moms, along with Beverly and I got a kick out of the milk pump -
maybe because they were all too familiar to each one of us. Poor cows!

After a full day at the farm, these kids were ready for a bath!
And. Bed.
