| Drew found the bunny prints first! |
Nathan remembered that detail from last year, and included it in his description to Drew about Easter morning. It really was precious to hear him recall the details with such anticipation and excitement.
This year, however, we had just completed the basement renovations from the flood, and had literally just vacuumed the entire house (with our new Dyson). Neither Dan nor I were fond of the idea of sprinkling baby powder everywhere, so we skimped and just did a few footprints in the basement leading them to the back basement. The mess was totally worth it, but didn't quite lead up to the excitement level that Nathan and Drew had anticipated.
The footprints lead them to the back bedroom where the Easter Bunny had left their Easter baskets and treats! They received quite the load this year - as lots of leftover Christmas gifts were found after the flood. They received some candy, both real and fake fishing poles, a tackle box, and Toy Story Bubble Guns!

Easter Sunday Grammy and Pop pop joined us at church for service, followed by a delicious brunch at our house. The boys were thrilled to see them at our church, and then to take them home to see all of their great treats from the Easter bunny. And of course, mommy and Grammy were happy to get pictures of everyone all dressed up together!
