A few weeks ago a friend mentioned marshmellow cream and peanut butter sandwiches to me. I thought the idea sounded like a wonderful treat for my two little boys. After weeks of staring the canisters down of it in the grocery store, and trying to justify buying the pure sugary treat; I finally caved in and bought some.
We have since put it on sandwiches, crackers, cookies - you name it, my boys are in love with it! That sticky gooey mess is sinfully delightful and a fun little treat for my sugar-addicted littles.
Isn't that what being a mom is about? Being able to treat your little boys with something so sinfully and delightfully wonderful?! Admist all of the discipline and training, these little treats are oh, so sweet! For however short those moments last, they sure make up for all of the long, tiresome hours.
What is wonderful to notice is that these moments are growing exponentially as the boys grow. It feels as if they are so much more fun at this age even more so than even a year ago! They are so much more inquisitive, independent and injoyable ( yes, I had to go with another 'i' word). It's even better than sitting down to a wee bit of marshmallow cream!
