We're preparing to go out of town for the next 2 weeks, and cleaning out the fridge has proven to become more of a fun and creative job, as opposed to a dreaded one. This week, peach pie was a bi-product of our cleaning out the fridge. I've never made a homemade peach pie before, and this recipe proved to be a delicious one - Peach Pie. The boys were thrilled to help me slice the peaches, and pour in the seasonings.
I have always used my MIL famous homemade crust recipe - and therefore never tempted the pretty criss-cross crust. It proved to be much easier than anticipated, and quite delicious!
