Yesterday I took my boys hiking. For anyone who knows me this is a complete shock. While I may have lived in Colorado for a total of four years of my life, not much about the state has rubbed off on me - especially hiking!
The weather this spring has been extraordinarily warm, and the outdoors have been calling my name. With Dan out of town this week our afternoons and evenings have been free - so a short trip to Garden of the Gods sounded like a great idea, especially with a yummy, cold, Sonic treat in hand.
We walked the paths of the tourists, watched lots of rock climbers, played chase among the rocks, and then climbed to the top of an 'off beaten' path. It was fabulous, marvelous, and just what we all needed!
