The other night Dan and I emerged from the office to find Nathan sound asleep in our bed. While he's fallen asleep in all kinds of places in his room, or even on the couch, this is the first time he's fallen asleep in our bed. It was so sweet. There are not many times in his short little life where he sits still enough for me to love on him.
One of my favorite songs these days is by the Dixie Chicks called Godspeed (Sweet Dreams).
It is a lullaby written to her son. Each Saturday morning as Nathan and I cook our pancakes
for daddy, we listen to this song.
