The first morning we awoke to snow on the ground in Colorado. It was incredible! We went to bed with no snow, and BAM, there it was the next morning. We couldn't have planned it more perfectly.
Nathan was in awe of the white stuff, and proceeded to walk right outside to touch it. It didn't take very long for him to realize that it was cold. There was no walking outside barefoot in Colorado!
After he ate some of Pop pop's oatmeal we went outside to play in the snow. Thankfully Grammy had gone to Gymboree to get the boys hats and mittens. They were so cute, and Nathan was very thankful for them as he played in the snow.
While Pop pop was shoveling the driveway, Nathan and Grammy were trying to make a snowman. It was Grammy size though, and Daddy and Pop pop wouldn't allow it. Daddy grabbed a bucket and Pop pop shoveled the snow into them to pack it down. We soon had a bucket snowman. With a little more help he actually looked like a real snowman, carrots and all!
