Our 6th wedding anniversary fell on a Sunday this year. Despite having to work at the church, Dan made it a special day! I was greeted at chuch by my handsome boys with flowers. They were so sweet, I couldn't help but take pictures of them. Drew particuluary was fascinated by the flowers, and their looong stems. Nathan could have cared less, and was more interested in seeing how he could pluck the petals in the most creative ways: throwing them, hitting them against the wall, and stomping on them.
When we arrived home from church, Dan had arranged for our favorite sitter, Jenny, to watch the boys for the next 24hrs. What a treat! I quickly packed up my things, and we were off - to our favorite getaway in Orlando - Portofino Bay Resort!
We made it just in time to catch a couple hours by the pool before dinner. There is nothing like a kid - free pool, when getting away from the family! We each fell sound asleep enjoying the warmth of the sun.

When we returned from our pool time, we were greated with chocolate covered strawberries and a white chocolate Happy Anniversary sign. Yum! Yum!
We enjoyed a boat ride to downtown Universal, and ate dinner at Bumba Gumps Seafood.
