Parent Back to School night

Dan and I headed to back to school night. We weren't really sure what we were in for, but it was informative and good, and we definitely needed to be there. It wasn't the usual date night for us - no dinner, no movie, no long deep conversations about life and our future, but it was filled with LOTS of laughs. The picture above being one of them.

As the teacher droned on about the class information, Dan and I began to look around at all the work Nathan had already completed in his first 6 days of school. We both stumbled across this about the same time, and had a hard time containing our laughter. Out of all the cute little "M" mice....there was Nathan's: complete with mouth open and tongue sticking out. Now where in the world did he learn that from?!
